Greetings, everyone in Jesus' name. I welcome you to the official Web Site of John W. Stines Ministries. I'm a full-time Southern Gospel artist living in the Big Stone Gap, VA area. You might ask, well where is that? Well, Big Stone Gap is about 40 miles from Kingsport Tennessee and is the birthplace of famous novelists, John Fox, Jr., and Adriana Trigiani and NFL football players Thomas Jones (running back, Chicago Bears) and Julius Jones (running back, Dallas cowboys). Anyway, We are pleased to announce that I am available to sing in your church or at other Gospel concerts or singings. Feel free to contact us if you'd like to book an appearance. The picture of me to the left is fairly recent. It was taken June, 2006. I have also added The Light, our online newsletter, to my site. I am currently 53, and live in Southwest, VA. I also play bass guitar in church. My home church is First Apostolic, Appalachia, VA. If you live in the Wise County or Surrounding areas in Virginia be sure and visit us. Our services are Sunday morning 10:30 AM and Sunday night 6:00 PM.
